Womb cancer awareness talks provide invaluable feedback

We have recently hosted the first two awareness talks in our series on womb cancer as part of our ‘You Need to Know’ campaign. This is running in partnership with the Eve Appeal to raise awareness of womb cancer and the main symptom, which is bleeding after the menopause.

These awareness talks have already provided some really useful insight and discussions, which will help to increase the success of the campaign.

We have 5 more sessions already lined up in April and May and are planning to run 12 in total to complete the series.

The talks so far have gone incredibly well with lots of engagement from over 50 women who have attended so far. We have had a real mix of our diverse communities represented and there was the chance for people who attended to ask the team key questions about the signs and symptoms of womb cancer.
