Residents were invited to Mardyke Community Hall for a Live Well Havering event that drew a large crowd and a notable presence of local councillors. We attended to raise awareness of the services available to people in the borough.

This month, we want to bust the myth that cervical screening detects ovarian cancer. It doesn't. Cervical screening is a test to detect high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and to help prevent cervical cancer by identifying abnormal cell changes on the cervix.

On Monday 14 July, leaders from across the NHS and local health organisations gathered at Barking Community Hospital to mark the success of a new skin cancer clinic, which is located at the hospital’s Community Diagnostic Centre.
