NELCA Engages with Over 100 Residents at Redbridge Disability Festival

The NHS North East London Cancer Alliance (NELCA) was delighted to attend the London Borough of Redbridge Disability Festival, where we had the opportunity to speak with more than 100 local residents about cancer awareness and early diagnosis.

Throughout the event, our team shared information on the importance of cancer screening, recognising the signs and symptoms of cancer, and the support available to people living with and beyond cancer. Visitors were able to ask questions, have open conversations, and access trusted information to help them make informed decisions about their health.

The festival provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local community, raise awareness of the services available across north east London, and encourage people to take up screening invitations when eligible.
