Barts Charity launches new breast cancer funding campaign

Communities in north east London face some of the highest rates of aggressive breast cancers and poorer outcomes than many other parts of the country. To help change this, Barts Charity has launched 'Here for it' - a new fundraising campaign for the Barts Health NHS Trust Breast Cancer Centre.

By bringing together specialist care, research and innovation, the centre will help transform breast cancer care for local people and drive discoveries that could benefit patients around the world.

The new Barts Health Breast Cancer Centre will have a big impact on research. By making research part of everyday breast cancer care, it will mean new discoveries can be tested and used to improve how breast cancer is diagnosed and treated locally.
