(Day 4 will be held in person at CLCH Academy, Soho and training Days 1 to 3 will be held virtually with our expert facilitators and speakers).

To register your interest please complete this Expression of Interest Form by Friday 13 January 2023 (All applicants will be notified if they have secured a space on March cohort by end January 2023) Please note: We will be offering a further 30 spaces on an additional cohort run in April/May 2023 (The EOI form provides optional dates for those applying)

The 4-day programme is blended learning and will cover key topics:

  • Screening and early diagnosis
  • Treatment toxicity and acute oncological emergencies
  • Living beyond cancer and personalised care (including case scenarios)

The course content is carefully tailored to meet the needs of community and primary care nurses who we recognise will be seeing this group of patients for many different reasons and at different stages in their cancer journey. Nurses in the pilot came away feeling more confident in recognising the needs of, and better able to support this group of patients.

The programme has been well evaluated by attendees with demonstrable increased confidence and competence to care for people living with cancer.

“This is an excellent course, all community nurses should be given a chance to attend it’s so informative, lived experiences were so helpful. Very grateful to be given the chance to attend the course. Will recommend to others.” Course Attendee March 2022
