Lung cancer - it's not a game

Introduction

Lung cancer affects men and women equally. Both smokers and ex-smokers are at greater risk, but non-smokers can get lung cancer too.

If you’ve noticed any of the signs or symptoms below, get checked as soon as you can.

Treatment depends on the type of lung cancer, how far it’s spread and how good your general health is. If diagnosed early, and the cancer cells are confined to a small area, surgery may be recommended or, if surgery is unsuitable, radiotherapy or chemotherapy will be used.

We want to make sure suspected lung cancer is checked as soon as possible to save more lives.
